A-A-F Sentenced to 1 year, 10 months and 5 days in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization". The verdict was deferred
A-E At the 28the Heavy Penal Court, the court also ruled that E.A. shall be sentenced to 1 year, 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" as per the Article no. 7/2 of the TMK.
A-M The 25th High Criminal Court of Istanbul, on the other hand, convicted academic M.A. of “aiding a terrorist organization without being its member” instead of the initial charge, and gave the academic a prison sentenceof 2 years and 1 month. The sentence was not deferred. One of the judges+ on the panel wrote a dissenting opinion, saying the defendant “should have been punished as per Article 7/2 of the TMK” -- the propaganda charge.
Acar-Yasemin-Gulsum From Özyeğin University. The hearing of Acar has been postponed to April 12 due to the excuse of her attorney.

Former president of the Turkish Medical Association and the Istanbul Medical Chamber shared a similar fate (Sentenced on Dec. 19 to 30 months in prison) after working in medicine for 40 years. After signing the petition, he was removed from his faculty position in the Department of General Surgery of Marmara University by a government decree.

Aktan-Özdemir

On 12 December got 15-month sentence for not "showing remorse”, and the sentences were not deferred on the grounds of “the defendants’ lack of remorse.”

Akyüz-Alper On 7 February 2019, the 25th High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted Alper Akyüz of “knowingly and willingly aiding a terrorist group without being part of its hierarchical structure” as per articles 314/2 and 220/7 of the Turkish Criminal code and Article 5/1 of the Law on the Fight against Terror. The court gave Akyüz a prison sentence of 2 years and 6 months and did not grant any reductions in the sentence. The court also did not defer the sentence because the sentence is above 2 years.

Alper-Emin On 17 January 2019, the 36th High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted academics Emin Alper and Kerem Eksen of “spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization” as per Article 7/2 of the Law on the Fight against Terror (TMK). Both academics were given a 15-month prison sentence and both sentences were deferred.

A Turkish court has sentenced academic Esra Arsan to one month and three months in jail on charges of conducting terrorist propaganda for signing a petition calling for a peaceful end to Turkey’s three-decades-old conflict with Kurdish rebels, independent news site Diken reported 9 January 2018

Arik-Efe The 36th High Criminal Court of Istanbul on 16 January 2019 convicted academics  Efe Arık, U.Ş., Reyda Ergün and Taner Gören of the same charge and sentenced each to 15 months in prison. All four sentences were deferred.
Arslan-Sefa-Feza  Has been charged with "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" for having signed the declaration entitled "We will not be a party to this crime" prepared by the Academics for Peace and had his second hearing at the İstanbul 23rd Heavy Penal Court in İstanbul Çağlayan Courthouse on March 5, 2019. Co-Director of Hafıza Merkezi (Truth Justice Memory Center). Was arrested on 16 Nov. 2018 during early morning police raids in a sweeping operation chiefly targeting members of a civil society organization. Was released later in the day, after giving statement.

Ayan-Müge A Turkish court has sentenced academic Müge Ayan to two years and one month in jailon charges of aiding a terrorist organisation for signing a petition calling for a peaceful end to Turkey’s three-decades-old conflict with Kurdish rebels, independent news site Diken reported on 21 January 2018.
Aydal-Hatice-Kurtuluş The 37th High Criminal Court of Istanbul found academic Hatice Kurtuluş Aydal guilty of the “propaganda” charge and imposed on Aydal a prison sentence of 1-and-a-half years. The court did not grant a reduction but ruled to defer the sentence.

On 12 December got a prison sentences of 15 months. The sentence were deferred.

Aydın-Utku-Uraz 15-month prison terms.
Aydınlı-Sinem On 6 February 2019, the 37th High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted Sinem Aydınlı of the “propaganda” charge. Aydınlı was also given a prison term of 15 months and her sentence was deferred.
B-S On 4 December, the 13th High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted academic S.B. at the end of the first hearing of the case. The defendant did not request a continuance after the prosecution submitted their final opinion of the case, so the court went on to issue its verdict, sentencing the academic to 1 year, 10 months and 15 days in prison on the grounds that “the offense was committed successively.” The court then reduced the sentence to 1 year, 6 months and 22 days in consideration of the defendant’s conduct in court. The sentence was deferred.
Balsoy-Gülhan On 6 December, Gülhan Balsoy was given a 15-month prison sentence at the end of the third hearing of their trial at the 28th High Criminal Court of Istanbul. The sentence was deferred.
Barış-Hanifi The trial into Hanfi Barış, a lawyer and an academic who was among the signatories of 2016’s Academics for Peace petition, resumed on 13 December in Istanbul. Barış is accused of “disseminating propaganda for a terrorist group in his social media posts.” At the end of the hearing, the 29th High Criminal Court of Istanbul set 12 February 2019 as the date for the third hearing in the case.
Behlil-Melis On 13 Decembe  convicted of “propaganda” and got a 15-month prison term. The sentences was deferred.
Berksoy-Biriz Was February 2019 sentenced to 1 year and 3 months in prison on charge of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" as per the Article 7/2 of the Anti-Terror Law (TMK).
Bekmen-Ahmet Sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" because of not "showing remorse".
Bozdağ- Lütfiye On 13 Decembe got a 18-month sentence on the grounds that she “did not show remorse” and the sentence was not deferred.
Çakmak-Nesrin Sungur On 12 December got 15-month sentence for not "showing remorse”, and the sentences were not deferred on the grounds of “the defendants’ lack of remorse.”
Caliskan-Koray At the 37th Heavy Penal Court:rof. Dr. Koray Çalışkan from Boğaziçi Universit had his third hearing 27 Dec. 2018.
Çetinkaya-Doğan Sentenced to 1 year, 10 months and 5 days in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization". The verdict was deferred
Çığ-Eylem Çamuroğlu At the İstanbul 26th Heavy Penal Court: he had his first hearing 27 Dec. 2018.
Çınar-Mahmut On 13 Decembe  convicted of “propaganda” and got a 15-month prison term. The sentences was deferred.

C-Z At the İstanbul 36th Heavy Penal Court: Dr. Lecturer Z.Ç. from Boğaziçi University had the second hearing 27 Dec. 2018, and was sentenced to 1 year, 3 months in prison on charge of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" as per the Article no. 7/2 of the Anti-Terror Law (TMK).

Demir-Necmi Is being prosecuted for signing 2016’s Academics for Peace petition
Demir-Yonca On 24 January 2019, Istanbul’s 24th High Criminal Court sentenced Dr. Yonca Demir to three years in prison, the longest prison sentence given in the Academics for Peace trials so far. The Court refused to reduce her sentence on the grounds that she behaved “improperly” after signing the petition and during the hearings. The Court also stated in the ruling that her sentence was increased to three years because “the crime was committed via the press”.
Dikbaş-Nazım At the İstanbul 29th Heavy Penal Court: Lecturer Nazım Dikbaş from İstanbul Bilgi University had his second hearing 27 Dec. 2018.
Dincer-Hulya At the 37th Heavy Penal Court:Research Assistant Hülya Dinçer from Marmara University had their third hearing 27 Dec. 2018.
Diner-Öznur-Yaşar Sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" because of not "showing remorse".
Durak-Haydar Sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" because of not "showing remorse".
Ekmekçi-Yiğit Anadolu Kültür Executive Board Deputy Chair. Was arrested on 16 Nov. 2018 during early morning police raids in a sweeping operation chiefly targeting members of a civil society organization.
Eken-Bülent 15-month prison terms.
Eksen-Kerem On 17 January 2019, the 36th High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted academics Emin Alper and Kerem Eksen of “spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization” as per Article 7/2 of the Law on the Fight against Terror (TMK). Ertekin-Alaattin Selçuk At the 37th Heavy Penal Court: Prof. Dr. Alaattin Selçuk Ertekin from Dicle University had thes third hearing 27 Dec. 2018.
Erzan-Ayşe Got on 12 December 15-month sentence for not "showing remorse”, and the sentences were not deferred on the grounds of “the defendants’ lack of remorse.”
Esen-Nuket Professor at Boğaziçi University. Was charged of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" and sentenced to 1 year 3 months in prison.The penalty of Üstel has not been postponed.
Financi- Sebhem-Korur Sentenced on Dec. 19 to 30 months in prison.
G-M On 13 February 2019, the 36th High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted academics Tahsin Yeşildere, S.Y. and M.G. of the same charge and gave each academic a 15-month sentence. All three sentences were deferred.
Goren-Taner The 36th High Criminal Court of Istanbul on 16 January 2019 convicted academics  Efe Arık, U.Ş., Reyda Ergün and Taner Gören sentenced each to 15 months in prison. The sentences were deferred.

Günal-Asena General Coordinator of Anadolu Kültür. Was arrested on 16 Nov. 2018 during early morning police raids in a sweeping operation chiefly targeting members of a civil society organization. Was released later in the day, after giving statement.
Güner-Remzi-Orkun Sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" because of not "showing remorse".
Gürsoy-Gençay On 11 December, the 37th High Criminal Court of Istanbul handed down Professor Gençay Gürsoy a prison sentence of 2 years and 3 months at the end of the third hearing of the case, where Gürsoy was actually supposed to give his final defense statement in response to the prosecutor’s final opinion. However, Gürsoy was not in attendance due to health issues. The court still went on to issue its verdict and convicted Gürsoy in absentia. The court did not reduce Gürsoy’s sentence based on “his bad conduct during proceedings and lack of remorse.”
Güvenli-Gülsün The 37th High Criminal Court of Istanbul found Güvenli guilty and gave the academic a 15-month sentence and ruled to defer the sentence. In what marked an unprecedented ruling, the court also ordered that Güvenli pay a condolence visit to the relatives of a martyred Turkish soldier.
Güzel-Ayşegül Was arrested on 16 Nov. 2018 during early morning police raids in a sweeping operation chiefly targeting members of a civil society organization.
   
   
İnceoğlu-Yasemin At the İstanbul 35th Heavy Penal Court: Prof. Dr. Yasemin İnceoğlu from Galatasaray University had her second hearing 27 Dec. 2018.
İrtiş-Zeynep-Verda On 12 December got a prison sentences of 15 months. The sentenc were deferred.

Kurt-Gulsah At the 37th Heavy Penal Court Dr. Lecturer Gülşah Kurt from Kadir Has University had his third hearing 27 Dec. 2018.
M-N From Nişantaşı University. Sentenced to 1 year, 10 months and 5 days in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization". The verdict was deferred

Mert- Nuray On 12 December got a prison sentences of 15 months. The sentences were deferred
Müftüoğlu-Özgür Sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" because of not "showing remorse".
N-L On 5 March, the 25th High Criminal Court of Istanbul handed down Professor L.N. a prison sentence of 2 years and 1 month. The sentence was not deferred because it is longer than 24 months.

Ö-Y The 30th High Criminal Court of Istanbul on 8 March convicted Y.Ö. of the “propaganda” charge and gave the academic a 15-month prison sentence. The sentence was deferred.
Onaran-Başak-Tuğ The 28th High Criminal Court of Istanbul gave Onaran a prison sentence of 1 year and 6 months. The court did not grant reduction in the sentence because the “defendant did not show remorse.” The sentence was deferred.

Özdoğan-Huri On 7 February 2019, the 37th High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted academic Huri Özdoğan of the “propaganda” charge and gave her a prison sentence of 1 year and 3 months. The sentence was deferred.

Parlak- Deniz On 6 March, the 36th and 37th high criminal courts of Istanbul convicted academics Deniz Parlak and S.U. of the same charge, and sentenced both academics to 15 months in prison. Both sentences were deferred.
Polat-Veli Professor at İstanbul University. Have been sentenced to 1 year 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization". His penalty has been deferred.
S-U The 36th High Criminal Court of Istanbul on 16 January 2019 convicted academics  Efe Arık, U.Ş., Reyda Ergün and Taner Gören of the same charge and sentenced each to 15 months in prison. All four sentences were deferred.

Şahin-Canay Was February 2019 sentenced to 1 year and 3 months in prison on charge of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" as per the Article 7/2 of the Anti-Terror Law (TMK).
On 5 February 2019, the 36th High Criminal Court of Istanbul held the fourth hearings in the cases of academics İnci Özkan Kerestecioğlu, Biriz Berksoy and Canay Şahin. The court convicted all three academics of “propaganda” and gave each academic a 15-month sentence. All three sentences were deferred

Şiray-Mehmet On 14 February 2019, the 32nd High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted Mehmet Şiray of “disseminating propaganda for a terrorist group” and gave the academic a prison sentence of 1 year and 3 months. The court deferred the sentence.
Savaşçın-Zeynep   On 12 December got a prison sentences of 15 months. The sentences were deferred
Şeran-Eda-Aslı Sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" because of not "showing remorse".
Sik-Bulent Former academic at Akdeniz University. He was dismissed for signing a peace petition that criticised the government's anti-insurgency policies in January 2016.
Sözeri-Ceren On 13 Decembe she was handed down a suspended sentence of one year, three months for signing a declaration in 2016 that demanded a halt to the Turkish army’s operations in predominantly Kurdish cities.
Süalp-Zeynep-Tül Sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" because of not "showing remorse".
Tanrıverdi-Sami-Cankat On 13 Decembe  convicted of “propaganda” and got a 15-month prison term. The sentences was deferred.
Taşkın-Yüksel Sentenced to 1 year, 10 months and 5 days in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization". The verdict was deferred
Telek-Filiz Was arrested on 16 Nov. 2018 during early morning police raids in a sweeping operation chiefly targeting members of a civil society organization.

An academic from the Mathematics Department of Istanbul’s Boğaziçi University, arrested on 16 November 2018 during early morning police raids in a sweeping operation chiefly targeting members of a civil society organization.

Tanju-Bülent On 12 February 2019, three more academics were handed down prison sentences.
The 36th High Criminal Court of Istanbul convicted retired Professor Bülent Tanju of the “propaganda” charge and gave him a prison sentence of 1-and-a-half years, which it then reduced to 15 months. The court deferred the sentence.

The dean of Faculty of Law at Bilgi Üniversitesi, was arrested on 16 November 2018 during early morning police raids in a sweeping operation chiefly targeting members of a civil society organization. Was released later in the day, after giving statement.

Tuncay- Ayşe-Rezan On 12 December got a prison sentences of 15 months. The sentence were deferred.
Türkmen-Buket On 13 Decembe  convicted of “propaganda” and got a 15-month prison term. The sentence was deferred.
U-S On 6 March, the 36th and 37th high criminal courts of Istanbul convicted academics Deniz Parlak and S.U. of the same charge, and sentenced both academics to 15 months in prison. Both sentences were deferred.
Ugur-Duzgun At the İstanbul 26th Heavy Penal Court: Research Assistant Düzgün Uğur from Dicle University had his first hearing 27 Dec. 2018.

Yılmaz-İlkay Sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" because of not "showing remorse".
Yücel-Yonca-Güneş The 28th High Criminal Court of Istanbul on 4 December sentenced Yonca Güneş Yücel to 18 months in prison. Yücel was sentenced in absentia. The court deferred her sentence. Yücel will be subject to probation for the next two years.
Yüksel-Şahika On 12 December got a prison sentences of 15 months. The sentence were deferred.
Zara-Ayten

At the İstanbul 28th Heavy Penal Court: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayten Zara from İstanbul Bilgi University had his third hearing 27 Dec. 2018, and the court ruled that Ayten Zara shall be sentenced to 1 year, 3 months in prison for "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" as per the Article no. 7/2 of the TMK.
