Gülen-linked figures made target of potential attacks after ministry’s terror list move

In a move that is likely to make them the target of hate crimes, the Turkish government has included the names of 37 people allegedly linked to the faith-based Gülen movement on a list of most dangerous terrorists, offering as much as TL 4 million in rewards to those providing information leading to the arrest of these people.

Turkey’s Interior Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the names of 37 people who are wanted over their links to the Gülen movement, which is accused by the Turkish government of masterminding a July 15 coup attempt, have been added to the country’s list of “most wanted terrorists.” (1)

In the indictment, organization imams were told under the heading of the organization of the FETÖ organization. At the head of the Special Service Unit Imams, the imams of the institutions were listed.

Imam of MIT: Murat Karabulut from the suspects is in charge of the responsible imam of this place reflected to the public.

National Education Imam: Sait Aksoy is responsible for this imamation.

Baş-Sitki Was imam of Kayseri Region went to Georgia on 4 April 2015. Sıtkı Baş, the terrorist group's Kayseri imam who fled abroad after authorities issued a detention warrant. Baş is also a suspect in a case against FETÖ, where 68 people including executives of a major business conglomerate stand accused of membership to the terror cult and financing it.
